10/5/2018 Snickerdoodle SmoothieI never thought I'd find a smoothie I loved more than my go-to Almond Butter Cup Smoothie (or the "ABC smoothie", as the ladies in the Weeknight Bite Challenge have come to call it). But when I ran out of my chocolate protein powder one day, I figured I'd try something extra vanilla-y, and I threw in some cinnamon, vanilla extract, and cashew butter, and with one sip, I fell in love with this smoothie that tasted like a cookie, and thus the Snickerdoodle Smoothie was born. I shared this recipe with the 4-week challenge group. And then I saw post after post like this: "um, is there a limit to how many Snickerdoodle smoothies you can have per week? YUM, really does taste just like the cookie." As the Snickerdoodle Smoothie became the new popular girl in school (sorry, ABC smoothie), I knew I had to share it on the blog for all of you to enjoy, too! Ingredients
1-2 cups nut milk 1/4 cup frozen banana slices 2 tbsp ground flax seeds or chia seeds 1 tbsp cashew butter or almond butter 1/3 cup frozen cauliflower/cauli rice* or a handful of greens 1 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 scoops Primal Kitchen vanilla collagen fuel (or your favorite vanilla protein - just make sure you're getting about 20 grams of protein) Ice Serves 1. Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy! *Use cauliflower if you want to keep the smoothie a "snickerdoodle" color rather than a green smoothie... promise you can't taste either the cauli or the greens!

My boyfriend and I are obsessed with the ABC smoothie, but I have some vanilla protein powder that needs to get used. I used the toasted oats and almonds milk from Califia Farms to make this smoothie and it tasted so much like a snickerdoodle! I'm going to try to use this milk for the apple pie chia seed pudding recipe too to see if it adds anything to an already delicious dessert.

Yayy!! So happy you loved it! I was hooked on the ABC for a long time too but the snickerdoodle is such a yummy one to change it up! And so happy you like the apple pie chia pudding :)

Could you swap hemp hearts for chia seeds?

Sure! Ground flaxseeds would be a good swap too!
