Brunch is 100% my favorite meal. One of my best friends jokes that I'm never just eating breakfast... I'm always brunching. There's just something so nice and relaxing about brunch. In my mind, brunch is a leisurely morning where you've slept in, put on comfy clothes, sip a cappuccino or a matcha latte, and sit back and relax while a delicious spread comes your way. What's better than that? Clearly I love enjoying a fabulous brunch out, but I also love hosting one at my house! It's definitely the most stress-free meal to take on. It's casual, it doesn't require anything too fancy or complicated, and pretty much everything can be prepped ahead of time. Here are my tips for the next time you're hosting a brunch!
I'm so excited to finally share my office reveal with you guys! Working from home, I spend the majority of my time sitting in my office, and ever since we moved into our house two years ago, I've been dreaming of creating an office that really felt like me. I wanted a space that would inspire creativity and productivity and have a calm and happy vibe. I wanted it to be both beautiful and functional - it needed to have a place for all of the pretty decorative items, cookbooks, and nutrition books, and also some storage where I could hide the not-so-cute things like my shredder, printer, cords, and client folders.
Thanksgiving is officially over, which means the holidays are upon us! I don't know about you, but I'm definitely not one to spend Black Friday at the mall... I'd much rather enjoy my turkey & pie hangover from the couch while shopping online! If you're putting together your holiday wish list or you're looking for some inspiration for what to gift your mom, sister, or best friend, I've got you covered with my top 31 absolute favorite things. Some for the home, some for work, some for the bod, some for your glowing skin, and the rest for your every day life. These are all items that I own, love, and basically couldn't live without! Happy shopping!
Going out to dinner with your favorite people is a fun part of life and shouldn’t be something you feel like you have to avoid when you’re trying to live a healthy lifestyle. When we're working out, eating well, and doing our best to live our healthiest lives, there can be this anxiety about going out to dinner because we worry that it might slow our momentum, or worse, get us totally off track. But really, if you get strategic when it comes to splurging, you can afford that occasional treat meal (without the guilt). And you can also become a master at tweaking a menu so it works for you and your healthy lifestyle, and you won't have to stress about a girls' dinner out. Once you do that, you can actually have some pretty balanced meals when you're out and about! Let's get into it...
Going all-natural with my skincare is something that's been on my list for a long time. It took me a while and a lot of baby steps to get there, but I'm really excited that I've finally found a regimen that works for me. You may be wondering why it's an important thing to do, and I was the same way. But think about it... we spend all of this time and energy buying healthy, organic groceries, reading ingredient labels, and putting the best foods in our body, but what about what we use on our bodies?
