My mission is to scale things way back, like wayyy back to the basics of what it takes to "be healthy" in our daily lives, and I want to take you there with me. So what does it take? A couple things. Eating well, moving your body, drinking water, sleeping, and finding time to do things that make you de-stress and smile. Pretty simple, right? The most overwhelming, confusing, and time-consuming thing on that list definitely has to be eating well. I get it. We're not sure what we're supposed to eat, when to eat, what's actually healthy, or how to cook a balanced meal in a short amount of time, so we'd rather just get take-out. But what if you had someone to tell you exactly what to do. Someone to just hand you the blueprint to build your healthy life. So you could take all of the thinking out of it and just follow this proven program that actually works and helps women jumpstart a healthy routine they can maintain. Helps them back into their favorite jeans that have gotten a bit harder to zip over the last year. And helps them feel their most vibrant, confident, and energized. You can purchase the Back to Basics eBook at any time and you'll automatically have access to the private Back to Basics Challenge Facebook Group, and then you'll be all set and ready to go when the next challenge kicks off!
Q: Are the meal plans paleo / vegetarian / vegan / gluten-free?
The meal plans are full of veggies, healthy fats, and good-quality protein (mostly wild fish & organic poultry). If I had to classify it, I'd say they're closest to a Paleo diet, with some grains and legumes thrown in there, too! Most of the meals are naturally gluten-free and dairy-free, or easily modified to be. The majority of the meals will have an animal-based protein, however, vegetarian suggestions are provided.
Q: What if I can't cook at home every night?
No sweat! As long as you do your best to stick with a similar structure to the meals on your meal plan, you'll be good to go whether you're dining out or picking up! You'll also receive my Take-Out/Dining Out Guide to help you make great choices while you're out at restaurants, and I'll share all of my restaurant tips and tricks on our Facebook Live calls! You can also make a double batch of any of the recipes so you have leftovers for the next day. The goal is to make this as easy on you as possible!
Q: Are the recipes things that my kids can eat?
According to the moms who completed the previous challenges, these recipes are family-approved! I received tons of photos of their cute kids drinking smoothies, eating the healthy chicken tenders, and polishing off their plates of avocado pesto pasta!
Q: Do I have to give up sweets and alcohol?
