11/2/2023 Healthy Kid's Birthday Party Snacks
It's officially birthday party season for us at school which means lots of fun for the kids but also, lots of junk food on repeat! Love the fun, don't love the sugar rushes. I know you mamas hear me! Here are some of the snacks I like to serve at my kids' parties to balance out all the cake and sweets.
My Favorite Healthy Kid's Birthday Party Snacks
Layered Cups
I like putting together little cups with a layer of hummus or guacamole at the bottom, and then layer carrot, cucumber, and celery stick on the top to dip! Clementines A kid favorite for their sweetness! These are also a SUPER easy snack idea so I know us mamas love it. Fruit Skewers A classic fruit skewer will do but I love to assemble them to match your child's birthday party theme like this. It takes minimal effort and is always more enticing for the kids! Watermelon Sticks Especially great when the weather is warm! Yogurt Parfait Cups These are so easy to customize with any toppings and ingredients. If the kids are a little older, put together a yogurt parfait bar so they can build their own! String Cheese Always an easy staple at kid's birthday parties - stick them in the ice bucket with the drinks to keep them cool! Snacks You Can Order
Serenity Kids Dairy-Free Smoothies: These smoothies have zero added sugar and are packed with amazing ingredients including grass-fed collagen.
Cerebelly Smart Bars: I love these toddler bars that have a ton of brain-supporting nutrients for your little one. No added sugar and gluten free! Skout Kid's Snack Bars: The boys love these snack bars that come in a ton of yummy kid-friendly flavors but are made with clean ingredients. Apple sauce Pouches: Always a favorite of the kiddos and these have no added sugar. Organic Veggie Sticks: Love these as a healthier alternative to chips as they are enjoyed by kids and adults alike! gimMe Seaweed Snacks: If they're craving something a little saltier, these seaweed snacks are a go-to. Made with avocado oil and full of Omega 3's! Simple Mills Almond Flour Crackers: The perfect cracker to put out with dips or cheeses, and they are gluten-free. Don't get me wrong, I still allow the boys some sugary treats, but these snacks are a great way to make sure the kiddos are still getting some substance in what they're eating along with all of the sweets. Happy birthday party season!
